Albania's former presidents in The Hague, meetings with KLA former leaders

 On September 29, the 3 former presidents of Albania and the former prime minister Pandeli Majko will visit the former leaders of the KLA in The Hague. The initiative was undertaken by the former president of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, who will be part of this visit.

The 3 former presidents of Albania, Rexhep Meidani, Alfred Moisiu, and Bamir Topi will travel next week to The Hague where they will meet with the former leaders of the KLA.

Former Prime Minister Pandeli Majko is part of the group that will go to The Hague on September 29. While the former president, Behgjet Pacolli, who is also the initiator of this visit, will be from Kosovo.

The former leaders of the Albanian state and Behgjet Pacolli are expected to hold meetings with Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, and Jakup Krasniqi who are being held in custody in The Hague.


The news is reported by Pacolli's adviser, Jetlir Zyberaj, who writes that the invitation has also been extended to the former presidents of Kosovo, who have not confirmed their visit.

According to Zyberaj, the purpose of this visit is to show solidarity with the former leaders of the KLA who are detained in The Hague and to support the cause and the just fight of Kosovo for freedom and independence against Serbia.

Prime Minister Rama and the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, were earlier in The Hague.
