The employment rate during the second quarter of 2020 for the active working population aged 15-64 is 59.6%, or the unemployment rate is 40.4%. according to Albanian State Telegraphy Agency.
The Institute of Statistics (known locally as INSTAT) published recently the Quarterly Labor Market Survey, according to which during the second quarter of the year the employment rate for men is 66.2%, while for women 53.2%
According to INSTAT, the labor force participation rate during the second quarter of this year for women is estimated at 60.7%, while for men this indicator is 75.7%.
During the second quarter of 2020, the labor force participation rate for young people aged 15-29 is 50.5%.
