Turkey responds to 'Greece's threat' with training in the same country

 

 Turkey seems to have decided to respond to the large Greek exercise in the south-east of Crete by conducting a naval exercise there in the coming days.

Greek media report that the Turkish navy has published through NavTex the coordinates where the exercise will take place, which coincides with a large area in the south-east of the largest Greek island, Crete.

The exercise was also announced by the Turkish media, which called it a "harsh response to the alliance between Greece and France in the Aegean".

A few days ago, the Greek Navy conducted a naval exercise in the same area, sinking, among other things, a military ship through submarine torpedoes and ship's missiles.

This action was considered a serious provocation by Turkey, bringing their response.
