Nikos Hardalias says Greece - Albania border will remain closed

 Greek Deputy Minister of Civil Defense Nikos Hardalias during a visit to Ioannina has stated that the border with Albania will not be open. Hardalias said that Greece is interested in the economy and the gradual opening, but despite the visitors who will enter Greece, attention is needed for the protection of the Greek population.

Hardalias added also that even when the land border with Albania is opened, coronavirus tests will be performed.

"We are working hard to keep the protocols at all entry gates, to have the required personnel, in order to control them safely. In matters of public health, there is no mood or will for any discount" Hardaliasj said.

"There is a recession, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t follow the measures. Our shield is to keep the measures,” added the Greek Deputy Minister.
