Four pregnant women who were hospitalized at the Gynecology Clinic in Pristina are suspected of being infected with Covid-19, while tonight the final test is expected to come out for the fifth case, where a pregnant woman has been hospitalized in the Infectious Diseases Hospital since Saturday.

This was stated by the director of the Gynecology Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, Jakup Ismajli, adding that there is no positive case in Gynecology that is being treated.

Dr. Ismajli said that on Saturday a case was sent to Infectious Diseases for treatment, but the first result was negative yesterday, while there are four other patients who are expected to pass tests tonight, according to which they have fever and some COVID-19 symptoms.

"She was hospitalized on Saturday morning at 2:00 am. She came with fever. We gave her the therapy. We invited the infectious disease specialist, they took the test, came out positive and we immediately transferred that night to the Infectious Diseases Clinic. Infectious diseases are being treated, the condition is stable. There are no symptoms. Tonight we are waiting for the result, yesterday it turned out negative, but to confirm that it is negative, we have to wait 24 hours. We have four patients who have a fever, one gave birth at night and "Today we have done the test of four patients, we are waiting for the result at 22:00. However, in Gynecology we do not have patients who are being treated with COVID-19", declares Ismajli.
