Albin Kurti been threatened by the 'Albanian Volunteer Guard', he points the finger to Kosovo's President Hashim Thaçi
The incumbent Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has announced that he and other leaders of the Self-Determination Movement have been threatened by a group presented as the "Albanian Volunteer Guard".

Kurti also published on Facebook the facsimile of the communiqué of the "Regional Headquarters" of the organization in Prishtina, which is dated May 17, 2020.

According to the facsimile of the communiqué, this organization has information that various groups of the Self-Determination Movement are organizing protests in Pristina on May 29, 2020.

The statement said members of the organization "will not stand idly by" but "will defend the country".

Kurti and other leaders of the Self-Determination Movement, which is considered by them a "criminal organization", are warned that they are endangering "the safety of themselves and their families", if, as they say, help the organization of the protest.

The Declaration of the Albanian Volunteer Guard
"Albin Kurti and all the leaders of LVV who help organize this protest have reason to worry about their safety and the safety of their family members of the Guard units", it is said in the communiqué of the "Albanian Voluntary Guard".

The communiqué also warns the "population" of Kosovo not to support these "illegal protests" as otherwise, they will be "targets of actions" of the units of the "Albanian Voluntary Guard".

The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has said that this threat was not addressed to him, but to the Constitutional Court and especially to the president of this court and to the reporting judge on the issue of the president's decree for the new government.

The threat against me from the so-called "Albanian Voluntary Guard", in fact, is not against me. This is a threat to the Constitutional Court, in particular, to the President of the Court, Mrs. Arta Rama-Hajrizi and the Judge Rapporteur of the case KO 72/20, Mr. Nexhmi Rexha. There is no other explanation", Kurti writes on Facebook.

Kurti points the finger at the country's President, Hashim Thaçi, and his supporters, whom he summarizes in the phrase "old regime."

"The old regime knows there is no hope for them. After forgetting how long ago they abandoned the people, now the people are reminding them every day that he too has massively abandoned them. They are the intimidators who want to intimidate the Constitutional Court and not only. "They also want to intimidate Quint's ambassadors with destabilization if the President of the Republic, loses the case."

Kurti also attached the warning of the "Albanian Volunteer Guard", which is accompanied by 4 photos of Kurti targeted by the weapon.
