Seal swim quietly on Vlora coast, video shows

A special visitor has been filmed off the coast of Vlora today: a seal, which is a rare species on the Albanian coast, given the unfavorable climate conditions for the seal habitat.

The seal was filmed very close to shore as it floated on the surface of the water. After swimming for a few minutes near the shore, the seal is gone.

The video was made by some random people and sent to newsrooms of portals and television. At the moment we cannot say to which species this seal belongs or how it behaves.

It is not the first time that such species have been seen in Vlora, including dolphins, sharks, and octopuses of various sizes. It is perhaps also the depth and submarine terrain that favors the appearance of such species.
