Another lynx is caught in Mavrovo

 

 On February 24, 2020, the Macedonian Ecological Association (MEA) and the Mavrovo National Park trapped a lynx on Mount Bistre near the village of Radostushë.

This lynx is the fourth in a row to be tracked by GPS, while according to MEA, it is a female lynx that weighs 15 kilograms and is 6-7 years old, according to the Nacional Park Mavrovo post on Facebook.

The lynx is named List and is the ninth lynx caught for research activities by the Balkan lynx conservation program implemented since 2010.
