 The US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, announced that the US will provide $ 100 million to countries affected by the coronavirus.

This amount will be offered to help prevent the spread of this very dangerous pandemic.

“US has pledged up to $100 million to help friends like #Albania & others combat #COVID19. This builds on broader assistance that has helped build capacity & strengthen infrastructure. We will get through this together - as always. Jemi ende me Shqipërinë!” Ambassador Kim wrote on Twitter.

While the reactions of some Albanian politicians did not delay, including President Ilir Meta and the Chairman of the Majority Parliamentary Group in the Albanian Parliament, Taulant Balla.

"A special thanks for the US solidarity with our country at these critical moments. A friend in need is a friend indeed!" Ilir Meta wrote.
