Albania will soon have a hospital dedicated to coronavirus for non-serious cases

 Albanian Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu during today's cabinet meeting announced a series of measures aiming to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

"We are about to set up a new facility, a quarantine hospital for non-serious cases," Manastirliu said during the government's online conference.

The Minister added that all assessments are being made to have another facility rehabilitated to provide service to patients affected by COVID-19 if the foreseen scenarios are exceeded.

The Minister of Health announced that it is being intended that within 20 days to begin adjusting the structure identified in the new hospital, as it went on to consider that this hospital is considered the fourth scenario in the order of the designed scenarios.

Monastirliu also added that an amount of 50,000 personal protective equipment has arrived for medical staff, which have begun to be distributed throughout hospitals, where he praised the ease of transporting medical supplies by the Turkish government.

The Minister of Health stated that the curve of those affected by the infection is continuing to rise, but our health system is still coping with this situation.
