The Netherlands donates 3m euros for the reconstruction of buildings damaged by the November 26th earthquake that struck Albania.
On the eve of the donor conference, Foreign Minister Stef Bloc confirmed the amount the Kingdom of the Netherlands will provide for our country.
“The devastating earthquake that struck Albania last year shocked us all. I have seen pictures of damage, while Prime Minister Rama and my colleague Cakaj have told me heartbreaking stories about Albanian citizens that fell victim to this disaster. The Netherlands is highly committed to support Albania in its reconstruction efforts. In solidarity with the Albanian people the Netherland will donate 3 million euros for reconstruction activities.” said Blok.
