That the amount of the drugs was hidden in a banana truck, which arrived at the Hani Hoti Customs Office in Montenegro yesterday and went out of Albania through Qafë Thana, Macedonia.

The final destination of the narcotics has been to Slovenia. Albanian authorities had the truck under surveillance as they had information about the truck and allowed it to cross into Albania in coordination with all international authorities involved in the operation.

The action was attended by the US DEA, Guardia di Finanza, Albanian Police, and other neighboring authorities.

The truck with cocaine was allowed to leave Albania, as they had to find out where it was going, and who was hiding behind this record of cocaine load.

“We had it under control. It's just transit. It has nothing to do with us,” Kraja said.
