17 emigrants from Syria and Morocco detained in Lezha and Librazhd, three persons arrested
 
 Albanian authorities have hit two cases of trafficking of clandestine from Syria and Morocco. Police have arrested in Lezha 13 Syrian nationals who had entered illegally the Republic of Albania.

According to the Lezha Police report, the bus driver of Tirana-Kukes line, B.E., 58, and the delivery man B. B., 34, were prosecuted for the case.

“Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking in the Lezha Police Directorate referred the investigative materials to the Lezha Judicial District Prosecution Office for EU citizens, 58 years old, residing in Tirana, bus driver traveling abroad and BB, 34 years old, resident in Kukes, bus bill. These nationals, on the Mamurras-Lezha road axis, at a place called “Laçi overpass” were intercepted by the Road Police services by a Tirana-Kukes bus, carrying 13 Syrian and Moroccan foreign nationals entering illegally the Republic of Albania”, Police reports.

“The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office of the First Instance Court of Lezha for further investigative actions, for the criminal offense of “Aid for Illegal Border Crossing,". as the notification of the Lezha Police concludes.

While in Librazhd, according to Elbasan Police, 4 clandestine has been detained which were being transported by car. Police arrested the 44-year-old G.M., driver from the village of Libonik, Maliq. Police explain that the transport of clandestine is made for a fee and Albania is the transit country for them to move to European Union countries.
