Acting Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj received tonight the former OSCE ambassador to Kosovo, William Walker, who has been honored with the 'Skanderbeg' medal.

"Kosovo is fortunate that in its historic journey has had friends and allies, such as Walker and the American people," Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.

Haradinaj's full post: I had an emotional conversation with Ambassador William Walker reminding the difficult times of Kosovo when he stood by us in showing and defending our right and our truth. I expressed gratitude for his tireless commitment to unite our diaspora, for the good of the country and to raise the national cause. I honored him with the medal of 'Skanderbeg' on the day of the eternity of the chief Albanian hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. Kosovo is fortunate that in its historic journey has had friends and allies, such as Walker and the American people.

Always thankful and grateful!
