Former Italian Minister Salvini gives up Nutella because contains Turkish hazelnuts

Former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said he will no longer consume the Italian product Nutella after discovering that the Ferrero company that produces this product uses Turkish hazelnuts. Salvini has decided to change his mind about this product (once his most loved) in order to support Italian products. He claimed this during a meeting in Ravenna, where a lady suggested to him to eat Nutella against the cold.

Salvini responded immediately: "Nutella no, you know why I changed? Because they use Turkish hazelnuts. I prefer to help enterprises using Italian products to help Italian farmers because they need it.”

Instead of Nutella, he added, "it's much better to eat bread, sausage or sardines."

We remind that a year ago, on the day of Santo Stefano, Salvini published a selfie tasting bread and Nutella and wishing to the audience Sweet Easter.
