More than 38 kg of drugs seized at the Greek-Albanian border, one Albanian among the arrestees

 

 Over 38kg of marijuana has been seized at the Greek-Albanian border. The operation took place in Sajadhe and Igumenica, where a vehicle coming from the green border has been stopped.

According to neighboring media, 37 packages with 38 kg and 410 grams of marijuana were found and seized by Greek police in the car. Meanwhile, two persons were arrested, one of whom is Albanian, while the nationality of the other is not disclosed.

We recall that since the beginning of the year the Greek police have seized mainly near the border, but also in other areas, about 9.5 tons of marijuana suspected to come from Albania.
