Greece: Nine Albanians arrested in Igumenica
 
 After a routine control, the Greek police arrested nine Albanian nationals aged 22 to 47 at KTEL station in Igumenica because of the lack of legal travel documents and they were also denied entry into Greece and into the territory of Schengen for a certain period of time, reports the local newspaper Epiruspost.gr

In addition, there was a judgment pending by the Kastoria Criminal Court, at the expense of one of the detainees, sentenced to imprisonment (3) months and a fine of 3,000 euros, for violating the law on foreigners.

We remind that this is not an isolated case, such these border crossings occur often and recently the number of this kind of cases has been increased rapidly.
