Albania will open the Consulate General in Ulcinj

 Albania has decided to open a Consulate General in the Albanian city of Ulcinj, Montenegro.

The news was announced by the Acting Foreign Minister of Albania, Gent Cakaj, via a Facebook post.

“The Council of Ministers of Albania, on the initiative of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, has finally decided to open the Consulate General in Ulcinj. This decision will especially serve to preserve the cultural and national identity and social and political cohesion of the Albanian factor in Montenegro,” Cakaj wrote.

He said that Albania would continue its substantive work in view of the national objective of deepening relations between Albanians in the region and establishing common political platforms.
