Made in Albania, WTO: Albania leads in the agricultural and garment manufacturing industry products

 Agriculture and garment manufacturing industry are two of the sectors that dominate Made in Albania exports to foreign markets.

The recently released report by the World Trade Organization (WTO) shows a comprehensive overview highlighting the main Albanian export products.

According to data from this report, in total, in 2018, Albania exported about $ 2.9 billion of products, dominated by exports of textile products that account for about 70%, followed by hydrocarbons and mines with about 17%, to continued with agribusiness exports accounting for about 12%.

The report highlights that Albania ranks first for exports of non-agricultural products, totaling of $ 227 million at the end of 2018. Second, are ranked the garment manufacturing industry exports of footwear and leather goods, man's suits third, men's and boys' shirts fourth.

The WTO report also highlights the export of electricity.

While the exports of agricultural products, fresh or processed tomatoes, rank first, with about $ 38 million annually in exports. Followed by different vegetables, but with a significant difference from the first place in the ranking.
