Albania's Catholic bishops call for dialogue
 Albanian Bishops meeting
In the message that the Bishops Conference of Albania conveyed today, on the eve of the 5th anniversary of Pope Francis' visit to Albania, has been expressed the thanks for the Pope and the warm words he conveyed to the Albanians from Mother Teresa Square; "Eagles fly up to the sky, but never forget their nest."

During these 5 years, it is said in the message of the bishops, Albania has taken steps forward in social, economic and spiritual development. But they say they are concerned about the many families that are leaving the country.

"We notice with regret that the persistently tense social situation, the lack of an integral and inclusive economic development, the lack of jobs or the existence of underpaid and underpaid jobs, low education and poor medical care has been and is the cause of many people leaving the countrie.”

Albania's Catholic bishops appeal for the need for dialogue and co-operation to end the country's transition.

"Therefore, this message goes first to those Catholics who are engaged in social and political life, the media and academic structures. Catholics should be part of the solution to problems, not part of the problems."

Bishops encourage young people in their sincere, non-conflict, and incorruptible engagement by encouraging them, "along with all goodwill people, regardless of political or religious beliefs, and beyond this, to develop a sense of work and interest in the good of the country”.
