The Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera has devoted an article to the local elections in Albania, underlining that among the registered voters are also the Italian singer Albano Carrizi and the well-known presenter, Ezio Greggio, according to a research conducted by the Italian newspaper.

Among the names of the 3.5 million Albanians called to vote on June 30, there are those of two very popular figures in Italy: Albano Carrisi and the famous show moderator of "Striscia la Notizia", Ezio Greggio.

Corriere Della Sera writes that Greggio is a voter at the administrative unit number 3 in Tirana, while the legendary singer in our neighboring country beyond the Adriatic is registered in Vlora. Albano officially became an Albanian citizen by a presidential decree published in the official notebook on June 10, 2016, while before him, in January 2015, Greggio had been on the list of 15 people for whom the former head of state Bujar Nishani signed for granting them the Albanian citizenship.

The newspaper gives more detailed details, indicating that the historical leader of Striscia la notizio can vote in "Lushnja Congress" school in Tirana and Albano at "Qemal Atatukr" school in Vlora.
