Turkey intends 7 million Russian tourists in the 2019 Season

 It is reported that the Turkish Festival, which was conducted for the third time in Moscow, will make a significant contribution to increasing the number of Russian tourists to go this year to Turkey.

Turkey's President of Turkish Hotels (TÜROFED) Osman Ayık said the festival was held on 14-16 June and created a beautiful atmosphere.

The festival was organized in Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey in coordination with TÜROFED, Turkey's Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) and Turkey's Investors Association in Tourism (TTYD), - explained Ayık and added that within a while short, 3 days, there was a great attendance, over 130,000 people, according to Turkish state media.

Ayık stressed also that the festival will make a significant contribution to increasing the number of tourists coming this year from Russia to Turkey.

"With the organization of such activities the number of Russian tourists will reach 7 million, our of 6 million that is Turkey's target for this year. Our desire is for such organizations to be held continuously."
