The Polish counterpart assured Ruçi that his country would urge the European Council (EC) to immediately open the negotiations with Albania.
According to him, the 27 Polish deputies are in line and demand that Albania initiate the negotiation process to become part of the European Union's large family.
"We urge the EC to open immedietely the negotiations with Albania. 27 Polish MEPs have voiced pro-negotiation at the first meeting. The enlargement of Europe is a priority before the EU is strengthened," he said.
