62-year-old Italian mechanic sentenced to 8 years in prison for killing a 37-year old Albanian

 Eight years in jail for the Italian Carlo Diana, 62 a mechanic at Villa Literno, Naples, who had shot and killed an Albanian thief on March 21, 2016. The thief had entered in the mechanic's home with two other people and when the Italian shot on those who were trying to steal the car.

The punishment for the Italian mechanic was given by the Judges of the Court of Assizes of Naples. Carlo Diana was investigated by the Naples prosecutor's office for "voluntary assassination under self-defense conditions" after the death of a 37-year-old thief of Albanian origin with numerous precedents for crimes. The Albanian was left dead by the shooting, while the Italian owned legally the weapon.

The thief was left on the ground by his two other co-workers, who managed to leave the house where Carlo Diana and her entire family lived.
