They are not simply tourists visiting Tirana. Facing the unique Florentine style architecture makes them experience indescribable emotions.

They are the granddaughter and the grandchilds of Gherardo Bosio, the one who designed the regulatory plan of Tirana some decades ago. They are the relatives of the creator of the Albanian capital, at the time when Albania was about to be invaded by the Italians.

Apart from the urban plans of some of the main Albanian cities such as Shkodra, Durres, Elbasan, Berat, Korça, Vlora and Saranda, Gherardo Bosio is the architect of the Academy of Arts, the University Corps, the the Archaeological Institute, the Prime Minister's Office, Hotel Dajti and the Brigade Palace.

"For me, there are many emotional days. I studied my grandfather's figure and grew up with paper designs we had in the home archive. To be here, to look closely at all those designs that have been realized with such passion that he has, is indescribable. It's a great pride. Now I tell my children, what my grandfather did in Tirana," said Marie Luo Busi to Top Channel, his granddaughter.

To get acquainted with the deeds of his grandfather, Mari Luo has brought her children.

"We have been astonished when we saw of what the great-grandfather did in Tirana," Federico Busi said.

"Our Mother has always talked to us about these designs, and coming here to see these, is very interesting," said Margherita Busi.

The Brigade Palace and all the furniture has been made by the architect Bosio and this is another emotion for the Florentine family who has visited Tirana these days.

"We had lunch in the dining room, which was furnished by our grandfather. Even all the glasses, plates are brought from grandpa from Italy. Everything is designed by him. Likewise, the pieces were selected in cooperation with my grandmother. It was a miracle," said Marie Luo Busi.

As they leave Tirana on Friday, Bosios's great-grandfather says they will return with their friends to show what their great-grandfather had accomplished in the Albanian capital.
