The Albanian-American priest Andrea Nargaj is honored today in Great Highland

 In Great Highland is commemorated today on the 100th anniversary of his birth, the Albanian-American Franciscan priest, Andrea Nargaj, professor of philosophy and theology at several universities in the United States of America. 

When the communist regime persecuted the clergy and the believers in Albania, he collaborated for more than 10 years with the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe, addressing issues of freedom of belief. Along the priest Zef Oroshi founded the Albanian-American Catholic League and the famous magazine "Catholic Life", which continues to be published in New York.
