Mission of OSCE/ODIHR in Albania for June 30 Local Elections

 An OSCE/ODIHR Mission is conducting a visit to Albania in response to the invitation made by the Albanian Government to observe elections for local government bodies and in accordance with the OSCE/ODIHR mandate.

The members of this Mission held a meeting at the Central Election Commission (CEC) where, the chairman of CEC, Klement Zguri and the Vice President Denar Biba, hosted in a meeting the OSCE/ODIHR Delegation.

The OSCE / ODIHR Delegation was chaired by the Ambassador Audrey Glover, and consisted of Stefan Szwed, Deputy Head of Mission, Svetlana and Alexey Gromov, Election Advisers.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the Mission with the CEC, in the framework of the local elections observation, dated on June 30, 2019.
