 Albania has secured the third medal in the European Weightlifting Championships that is taking place in Georgia after Krenar Shoraj, the sportsman who competed today in the 89 kg category, has secured the third place in the style of push.

Shoraj initially raised 195 kilograms at the first test, and then with the desire to win medals at the doublers tested 200 and 201 kilograms, but both tests proved unsuccessful. However, it was enough to secure the third place in the push and win the bronze medal.

Meanwhile, in snatch, as in push, Shoraj did well only in the first test, where he raised 155 kilograms, while he failed in the other two tests. For the bad luck in this case it was not enough to secure the medal, while in double Shoraj ended the race with 350 kilograms, ranking the sixth.

Earlier during the European Campaign taking place in Batumi, Georgia, Briken Calja has won the gold medal in push style, while Erkand Qerimaj has won the bronze in the style of snatch.
