Anti-Albanian calls in Boston by Greek community; Konstantinos Katsifas treated as a hero

The Greek community in the US celebrated the anniversary of independence through a parade in Boston. At their ceremony has not been missing the respect for the Greek extremist Konstantinos Katsifas. In the video published by the journalist Gazmend Kapllani, nationalist slogans against Albanians and Albania are also heard.

"Nationalistic and chauvinistic slogans against the neighbours of Greece, Albania and the Republic of Macedonia.

The slogans that directly threaten Albania's territorial integrity and denigrate the recent Prespa Agreement, honouring the far-right terrorists K. Katsifas who have already become the symbols of Greek fascist groups, slogans routinely cast on the streets of Greece and in the Greek Parliament by the Golden Dawn Neo-Nazi party were also present with a worrying turmoil on Boston's streets today.

I am also concerned that this show of rampant chauvinism will increase as a nationalism response among other Balkan migrant communities in Boston or other parts of America, while what is needed is the opening, dialogue and cooperation between people who have left their countries of origin for a better future in America," he writes.
