Albanian killer deported from England after filmed threatening his English wife with knife

 Ardian Rragami

Adrian Rragami, who was filmed threatening his spouse with a knife in her throat, is trying to avoid the expulsion by saying that he has a family and does not want të get separated from them.

His story was reflected some days ago by the British press, as Rragam urged the authorities not to separate him from his beloved family.

But in a video filmed by his granddaughter, he appeared as he was threatening his spouse with a knfe in her throat.

Rragami pleaded guilty to the Basildon Court for attacking his wife after he hit her and scratched her jaw with a kitchen knife, and attacked also the child.

His former wife Michaels, who works as a hairdresser, prayed to the British Government for the deportation of the Albanian.

"Ardian has used his right for a family life to stay here. I got stuck in him and until he is deported he will never stop," she told earlier to The Sun.

Ardian Rragami was extradited for the first time from Britain to Albania in 2009 to serve a 15-year sentence for killing his neighbor in 1998 in the city of Shkodra. But after doing just 4 years in prison, he returned to live in Great Britain.

He crossed the border in 2016 and went to Wickford, Essex with his British wife Chrysoulla Michaels and their two daughters, 13 and 15 years old.

But he was arrested in June of that year. He then requested the annulment of the decision to deport him from England on the argument that his departure would separate him from the family. The Court ruled in his favor, giving to the 47-year-old the conditional freedom.

But this attack on the spouse has caused the authorities to finalize his extradition.
