The Assembly of Kosovo voted by majority of the new Law on Salaries on the basis of proposals from working groups. One of the categories that benefited the most are health professionals.
Thus, according to the new Law on Salaries, doctors will now be paid 1,200 euros a month - gross standard salary.Their previous salary was about 600 euros. The Minister of Health, Uran Ismaili, also welcomed this news.
Through a political post on social networks, he wrote: "It is done. The highest salaries in the region for our doctors and nurses. The new decade of health has already started. Enjoy. Now, all the attention to the patient."
