Albanians use mostly Facebook Messenger to Communicate, not WhatsApp anymore

 In holiday time, the communication, especially the electronic one has become the most common form not only for talking but also for congratulating everyone, whether between individuals or institutions. In a new publication compiled by Similarweb with the most recent data used, it turns out that Albanians communicate more through Facebook Messenger. Though Facebook's 'brightness' has recently dropped and Instagram has gained ground and faithful followers in Albania, according to the analyzed data, the Facebook Messenger app is still being used to communicate. While the second most popular social network is Whatsapp. Previous reports showed that WhatsApp dominated as the first electronic communication tool in Albania.

The WhatsApp is the number one application used in 107 countries worldwide, according to a new report on the field of technology and is truly a free, well-known and widely used communication platform.

But, unlike the global trend, Albanians seem to prefer to communicate through Facebook's application.

The global report for the most popular communication applications shows that in the first half of 2018 the Albanians used more the Messenger and Facebook.

According to a new SimilarWeb report, Facebook's Messenger got the first place in some new territories and is now the leading messaging application in 58 countries. According to the report, Viber has lost ground in Albania, Iraq and Macedonia, while WhatsApp was the most widely used in Croatia.
