 Greece expels 970 foreigners, mostly Albanians

 Greece has departed 966 foreign nationals to the country of origin during September. These people have been classified as illegal in Greek territory and thus have been departed, writes the Greek newspaper "Zougla.gr".

More than half of them were Albanians, followed by Iraqis, Georgians, Pakistanis, Iranians, Turks, Algerians, and Syrians, figures of the Greek police.

The largest number of the departed are Albanians, 492, while 139 people from Iraq, 79 from Georgia, 69 from Pakistan, 53 from Iran, 20 from Turkey, 18 from Algeria and 12 from Syria.
