"The divorces are growing, are increasing day by day, people are very willing to perform many procedures just to reach the diverce. 7-8 people per month seek solutions."According to data from the Tirana Court, only in the capital during the last 9 months have requested the dissolution of the marriage 1687 persons, 110 more than the same period of the previous year. According to lawyers dealing with civil cases, divorces are the main cause of domestic violence.
"Most processes pass through violence. The lack of communication in the non-administration of the welfare, this leads to deteriorating the economic situation, people adicted to gambling and then goes into violence. Always the last time and then we find violence as the legal cause to resolve the marriage."
According to legal representatives, women are the ones who seek more to go to divorces.
"Women are the ones who seek more solutions after men are represented by themselve."
According to sociologists, the increasing of the number of divorces at a time when the number of marriages has decreased is an alarm for the Albanian society. Referring to Albanian State Statistics Data, The city of Tirana holds the highest number of divorces.
