The Federal Council has authorized the Confederation's Public Prosecutor to open criminal proceedings against two Russian nationals suspected of political espionage -the Federal Department of Justice and Police announced this Tuesday.
The request for the continuation of the current investigation was submitted last March by the Federal Court.The Prosecution of political crimes in Switzerland requires the consent of the Government.
