Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the Albanian Government is not in favor of Telecom Serbian Company to dy Telecom Albania.
"The attitude of the Albanian Government is very simple and clear: Serbian businesses are welcome in the Republic of Albania, but in this strategic sector is not our preference," Rama said in a press conference following the Government meeting.Serbia's Telecom has shown interest in buying Telekom Albania, which Deutche Telekom has offered for sale.
The Prime Minister Rama said that the Albanian Government is not part of the transaction that a private company like Deutche Telekom will conduct, which, according to him, has a strategy to withdraw from small markets.
Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, spoke about this issue, who said he will talk soon about this issue with the Albanian Prime Minister Rama.
