The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has commented on the initiative for planting 100,000 new trees in Tirna and also about opposition criticisms.
Speaking on the "Time to Wake Up" show in "News24", Veliaj stated that he welcomes the criticisms, but when they come from a party that has left Tirana in decline, he can not take it seriously.Mayor Veliaj ironized the Democratic leader by pointing out that a party that has € 1.5 million euros from the Russians to pay for a photograph, is also able to plant a tree.
"Now I understand when I am criticized by someone who when managed the Tirana Municipality, or the party that managed the Municipality "made a good job", it's my fault, I accept the criticism. But from a party that actually left Tirana in free fall and did not produce anything, I honestly can not take it seriously, especially now that there are other problems.
A party that has a half and a million euros from the Russians, paying for a photograph, can also plant a tree, can even seize the shovel by hand. I understand that you may have remarks on how I do this, but the best way to make a remark is to say: "The trees are not planted in this way, I'm telling how they are planted.
