Briken Calja is declared Europe's champion in European Weightlifting European in snatch style, which is being held in Romania.
At first he lifted 141 kg, then in the second test 143 kilograms. The third test was also the one that gave the gold medal, where Calja lifted 146 kilograms.
Calja raised 171 kilograms in the push style. In the second test, Briken failed to raise 175 kilograms, but worse, it is worth mentioning that the weightlifter was slightly injured in his back.
He raised the 175 kilograms in the third test, and became the European champion in the style of push. Also, Calja was declared a champion of Europe even in doubles, providing thus three gold medals for Albania.
