Daniel Godelli proclaimed champion of Europe.
The Weightlifter from Elbasan triumphed in 77 kg in the continental tournament which is being held in Croatia.
The 25-year-old performed the best was possible by dominating in snatch.After failing in the first two trials he managed to raise in the third test 161 kg grasping thus the title of European Champion.
While in push style Godelli managed to lift 186 kg in the first test, but then failed in two other trials when tried 190 and 191 kg, without the hoped success by ending this discipline in 6th place, and in biathlon with 347 kg in total, ranked 4th.
Meanwhile another success in this race came from the other Albanian, Erkand Qerimaj, who won the second place of Europe with 193 kg of push up and bronze medals in biathlon.
