The Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Greg Delawie, commented for the first time the Albanians idea of creating the Greater Albania.
During an interview to the show "Sporazum" Delawie asked what justifies the creation of Kosovo Army - aspirations for the creation of Greater Albania or something else.
The US ambassador said that "Kosovo is an independent state and we certainly recognize that is the right of an independent state to have an army if wants. It is a matter of sovereignty," writes Gazeta Express."Regarding the Great Albania, I think Balkan borders have changed enough in recent decades, and I am very pleased with today's borders," said Delawie.
"We support Kosovo and its current borders, borders since its independence, the borders that are in the flag of Kosovo, and we continue to support Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state", said further the US ambassador.
"We are working to make complete Europe, free and peaceful, in the words of Churchill, and we believe that the Balkans in particular, and Europe in general, would be better with a sovereign Kosovo independent in peace with its neighbors," concluded Delawie./ Oculus News
