Croatian media: Serbs expelled Croats from Kosovo

24 years ago, on February 26, 1993 due to the huge pressures of Slobodan Milosevic's regime the Croats were expelled from Kosovo, respectively from Janjeva.

Over two hundred families fled from Janjeva that day.

In the 90's of the last century Janjeva residents have experienced several waves of persecution by the state of Serbia, including Croats from other places of Kosovo such as: Letnicë, Vrnez, Vrnavokolo, Shashare, Zagragjë and Veselicë, Kosovo media publishes.

After the persecution of 1990, Croats were displaced from Janjeva to Croatia. From 10,000 Croats were displaced violently by the Serbs, in Janjeva now live only 300 Croats, while 50 in Letnicë.
