Rotarian Club Tirana International founded in Albania

 The newest Rotary club is established in Albania. It is the 11th club and is composed by international members. According them, their mission  is community service in the field of peace, health, education, people in need, and development of the community's own economy.

"We hope to increase cooperation with other municipalities and entities in the country, to develop projects and to have results in the environment where we live. As a club, we have to move forward, improve our society and after that we will do good projects." said one of the founders.

 "We welcome you in this important event that marks the founding of the new Rotary club in Albania. . We need to be proud and honoured. You know, especially women, that every birth is painful, but on the other hand brings joy and happiness to the family and in this case to our club. We will welcome this new club as a newborn baby and support it as much as possible until it starts to walk with its feet."

Rotarian Club Tirana International founded in Albania

This is the first Rotary International Club in Albania. Its founders are 20 professors, prominent professionals of various disciplines, business, local administration and international organisations made with the desire and dedication to positively influence to the community we live in .

Rotary club Tirana International at its foundation has the philosophy to strengthen the bridges of friendship among Rotarians with the highest standards of ethics by acting in accordance with Rotary motto "Service beyond one's self".

Rotary has been operating in preparing the terrain in Albania since 1992 and is part of a large Rotarian family of 1 million and 200 thousand members and 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary came to Albania in the most difficult moments of the country when the people went out of the communist regime sought hope and help. This club came up with an overly ambitious program for the time, vaccination of all newborns from Hepatitis B on national level, a program that took place over a four-year period.
