Albanian Government will support with arms and ammunition the Iraqi government to fight terrorism, a Government press release today states that it will be part of the coalition to support the Iraqi government.
In announcing the government said that Albania as a NATO member, has been and will be part of coalitions to fight terrorism and will contribute in arms and ammunition.
According to the government, there is a moral responsibility to decide in the face of these barbaric attacks of the Islamic State.
"The Government of the Republic of Albania will be part of the coalition to support the Government of Iraq with arms and ammunition in the fight against the terrorists of so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). As a member of NATO, Albania has made since the first hour of its contribution in the fight against terrorism and has been and will be part of the international coalition in Afghanistan, Iraq and beyond, along with other allied and partner countries."
ISIL barbaric practices and catastrophic humanitarian situation in Iraq puts us before a moral responsibility to do everything possible against the darkness that blind forces of terrorism are trying to bring to mankind.
