TIRANA, Albania – An Albanian student living in Germany took the stage during the 66th day of protests in Tirana, highlighting the strong involvement of the diaspora and expressing support for citizens continuing the demonstrations in Albania.

She stated that the Albanian diaspora has organized around 300 protests worldwide in support of the movement, including 10 demonstrations held in Munich, Germany.
"300 protests have been held so far in the diaspora. Only in Munich, 10 protests have taken place. The diaspora is with you and has your full support," she declared from the Tirana protest stage.
The student emphasized that Albanians living abroad remain committed to supporting the protesters until their stated objectives are achieved, describing the movement as a fight for a "new Albania."
She also announced that members of the diaspora plan to travel to Tirana during August 14–16 to participate in the demonstrations alongside citizens in the capital.
"On August 14, 15 and 16, we will be here with the diaspora in the square together. We will be here for a new Albania and our movement. We are all together to bring a new Albania," she said.
The student concluded her message by praising the determination of protesters, saying that maintaining demonstrations and marches for 66 consecutive days represents an important moment for civic activism in Albania.
The role of the Albanian diaspora has become increasingly visible during the ongoing protests, with communities abroad organizing solidarity rallies in several European countries and the United States.
