According to Shehaj, his temporary exclusion from parliamentary activity had officially ended two days earlier, meaning he should have been allowed to return to the Assembly under parliamentary procedures. A video published by Shehaj on social media shows the tense confrontation at the Parliament entrance between the opposition MP and members of the security forces.

"What is this? A dictatorship? How can you stop a member of Parliament from entering Parliament? Where is the order?" Shehaj says during the confrontation.
The opposition lawmaker argued that there was no written decision preventing his access and that security personnel were acting without legal authority.
"Show me the document. Where is the official order?" he repeatedly demanded.
Despite his objections, security officials prevented him from entering the parliamentary premises.
