SPAK Searches Samir Mane's Villa and Offices, Mobile Phone Seized

Investigative actions reportedly carried out under a Special Court order are linked to an ongoing SPAK investigation into alleged criminal groups suspected of international cocaine trafficking and money laundering.

Albania's Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) has reportedly conducted searches at the villa and office premises of businessman Samir Mane, acting under an order issued by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO).

According to sources familiar with the matter, investigators seized Mane's mobile phone during the operation as part of ongoing investigative procedures.

The searches are reportedly connected to a major investigation led by the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK), which is examining the activities of three alleged criminal groups suspected of involvement in international cocaine trafficking and money laundering.

Investigative materials are said to reference suspected investments in the construction sector, including the Green Coast development project in Palasë. Authorities are examining whether real estate and construction investments may have been used in schemes linked to the laundering of illicit proceeds.

At this stage, authorities have not publicly announced any criminal charges against Samir Mane. The investigative actions form part of a broader probe that remains ongoing.

Under Albanian law, all individuals subject to investigative procedures are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by a final court decision.
