Kosovo karate athlete Fortesa Orana is set to compete at the European Karate Championship in Frankfurt on May 19, with clear ambitions to reach the top level of international competition.
Fortesa Orana, one of Kosovo’s promising karate fighters, will represent her country at the European Karate Championship taking place on May 19 in Frankfurt, Germany. The athlete enters the competition with strong determination and a clear focus on advancing further in her sporting career.
In a motivational statement ahead of the event, Orana emphasized the sacrifices and discipline behind her journey so far. “I have worked in silence and sacrificed a lot, even when no one was watching. The road has not been easy, but I was not made for easy paths,” she said, highlighting the mental strength behind her preparation.
She also reflected on the difficult moments she has faced, stressing resilience as a key part of her progress. “There were times when everything seemed impossible, but I never stopped. I continue step by step towards where I know I belong,” Orana added.
The Kosovo karateka underlined that the upcoming European Championship is just one stage in her long-term ambitions. “Today I am here, but not yet where I want to be. I won’t stop until I achieve it. The European Championship is just another step — full focus,” she stated.
Her participation is seen as another sign of the continued rise of Kosovo athletes in international martial arts, as the country steadily strengthens its presence in European and global sporting events.
