According to the reports, a 55-year-old Albanian man was stopped during a routine check in Brescia and was denied a residence permit after failing to meet the legal criteria. He was subsequently issued an expulsion order and repatriated to Albania. In another case, a 26-year-old Albanian was detained in the city center without a valid residence permit and with prior criminal convictions.

Additionally, a 32-year-old Albanian national was apprehended by the Railway Police after attempting to steal a traveler’s luggage. Other cases include a 28-year-old arrested in the Leno area for drug trafficking, a 39-year-old who was expelled immediately after completing a prison sentence, and a 22-year-old with a criminal history involving residential burglaries, resistance to law enforcement, and causing bodily harm.

Italian authorities reported that in this area alone, a total of 355 residence permits have been revoked for migrants declared “non-grata.” All measures were carried out by order of the Brescia Chief of Police, Paolo Sartori, as part of security operations and checks on legal residency status. These actions were implemented in accordance with expulsion and repatriation procedures to Albania.
