According to the Saranda Police Directorate, investigative structures documented two separate theft cases as part of their ongoing efforts to combat property crimes. As a result, four French nationals residing in Paris were taken into custody.

In Ksamil, three individuals — identified by their initials as P.K. (21), H.K. (21), and Y.N. (22) — were caught in the act on September 4, 2025. Police say the suspects, acting in cooperation with one another, allegedly stole electronic devices and bottles of alcohol from a bar in neighborhood no. 3. They are also accused of damaging a rubber boat (“gomone”) using a sharp object.

In a separate case in Saranda, police arrested B.S. (27) on the same day. He is suspected of stealing a mobile phone from another individual inside a bar in neighborhood no. 4.

A portion of the stolen items has been recovered and seized as evidence.

Procedural materials for both cases have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Saranda District Court of First Instance. The suspects are under investigation for the criminal offense of “Theft.”
