The State Police has drafted a detailed operational plan, which begins with the secure escort and protection of the Serbian national football team, starting from their arrival at Rinas International Airport until their departure after the match.
Security measures will be tight, with particular attention paid to individuals attempting to bring prohibited items into the stadium, such as pyrotechnics, racist banners, fireworks, or flares. Thorough inspections will be carried out at entry points to prevent the smuggling of such materials.
Traffic restrictions will also be in place on June 7. From 15:00 (3:00 PM) until the end of the match, vehicle access will be limited on several roads near the stadium. At least ten streets will be blocked, including “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, the small roads connecting the stadium to Rruga e Elbasanit near the U.S. Embassy, areas around the “Libri Universitar” bookstore in the former Blloku neighborhood, and streets near the former Republican Guard headquarters.
Strict penalties await those who engage in illegal behavior. Individuals committing violent acts or entering the pitch during the match risk fines ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 ALL, and in more severe cases, criminal prosecution and imprisonment.
Authorities are also warning fans to avoid falling victim to ticket scams. Supporters are urged not to share their tickets on social media, as these can be duplicated and used illegally.
The State Police is calling for the cooperation of all fans and citizens to ensure that the match takes place in a peaceful and safe environment.
